Graveside services for Ms. Bernice Nell Jackson, 91, will be 3 pm Tuesday December 12, 2023, at Box Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Ronald Wilbanks officiating.
She was born December 28, 1931, in Alcorn County, Mississippi to Richard and Othalena Gilton Brooks. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. She owned and operated B J’s Grocery Store.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Morris “Buddy” Jackson, her sons; Morris “Lynn” Jackson and Douglas Jackson, siblings; Minerva Samples, James Brooks, R. M. Brooks, Paul Brooks, Harry Brooks, Marcia Nelms, JoAnn Isom, Patsy Woodruff, and Sally Dobbins.
Those to carry on her memory include her Grandchildren; Wesley Jackson, Amber (Brandon) Shaw, Shannon (Josh) Wilbanks, and Great Grandchildren: Wynndon Shaw, Addison Shaw, Ayden Wilbanks, Brynlee Wilbanks, a daugther-in-law: Brenda Jackson, her Sister; Carrie Smith of Ripley, MS, her Brothers: Rudy Brooks of Knoxville, TN, and Ricky Brooks of Columbia, TN,
