Tammy Darnell Blakney

Celebration of life service for Mrs. Tammy Darnell Blakney, 64, will be 2pm Sunday February 11, 2024, at the Corinthian Funeral Home Chapel with Nat Rogers officiating.

Visitation will be from noon till service time Sunday February 11, 2024.

Mrs. Blakney was born on May 5, 1959, in Corinth, Mississippi to Bill and Nora Brown Blakney. She was a member f Lakeview Baptist Church and retired bus driver from the Corinth City School District and was a cook at Joe’s Diner.

She loved pending time with her pups, playing bingo, and bowling, Tammy never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Stutts, her son, William Blake Lambert, her parents, and a brother, Jackie Blakney.

Those to carry on her memory include two sisters: Janice Barreca of Norco, La. And Pamela Miller husband Billy of Kossuth, her nieces: Leslie McCafferty, Natalie Bell, Jacqueline Inman, Candi Tarpley, Whitney Blakney, and Courtney Blakney, her nephews: John Mitchell, Trevor Blakney, her close friends at Joe’s Diner,and a host of other family members, her best friend, Wanda Carter, and a special friend Bonnie Marie Guy.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Corinthian Funeral Home 506 Kilpatrick Street Corinth, Mississippi 38834.

    Tammy will be missed on this side of heaven, but is enjoying her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a friend and sister. Love and miss you dearly
