Mr. Johnny W Austin, age 79, passed away at Mississippi Care Center on August 20, 2024. Services will be August 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at The Corinthian Funeral Home with Bro. Kelly Zellenr officiating. Visitation will take place from noon until service time.
Mr. Austin was born on February 04, 1945 in Alcorn County Mississippi to Robert and Vera Derrick Austin. He was retired from Cooper Tire. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Mr. Austin was preceded in death by his parents, Son: Jemicah Austin, Brothers: James Robert Austin and Sammy Crum.
Those left to cherish his memory are Son: Eric Austin (April) of New Albany MS, Brother: Kevin Austin of Bells, TN, Sisters: Gladys Jones of Corinth, MS, Delilah Knight of Corinth, MS, Patsy Moss of Corinth, MS, Patsy Farris of Corinth, MS, Peggy Guy of Booneville, MS, Betty Akins of Booneville, MS, Janice Whiteside of New Albany, MS, Wanda Love of Sorrento FL, Judy Spencer of TN, Linda Austin of Vancleave, MS, Kathy Conoway of Walnut, MS and Joyce MCCord of Corinth, MS, Grandchildren: Summer Austin, Raleigh Austin, Gabriel Austin, Jasmine Austin and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Colton Jones, Kevin Jones, Anthony Jones, Mark Loveless, Luke Felks, and Jeremy Jones.
