    Carolyn,
This is Kay Emerson Perkins. I’m so sorry for your loss. We loved Mike and enjoyed talking to him when we visited Strickland. I have known Mike all of his life. He was such a friendly and positive person, and I remember his big smile. Ralph and I were in the same grade. My brother Johnny and Ronald were in the same grade. Our parents were friends to each other. Our families have been close throughout all our young lives. May God give you comfort.
