Mr. Jerry “Buddy” Childers died at his residence on February 13, 2025. Services will take place Sunday February 16,2025 at 3:00PM at Farmington Baptist Church with Bro John Little officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time at the church. Burial with Military Honors will be in Farmington Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Jerry was born on April 03, 1948 in Hardin County, TN, to Herbert and Frances Malone Childers. He served honorable in the United States Army. He was the owner Ripley Heating and Air Business. Mr. Childers was a Mason, and a member of both the American Legion and VFW. He joined as a member of Farmington Baptist Church in 1972.
He was preceded in death by parents, and siblings: Billy Childers, and Peggy Wilkins.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife: Lenetia Childers of Corinth, MS, son: Jeremy Childers (Jennifer) of Corinth, MS, brother: Bobby Childers of Oakdale WI, Sister: Sherry “Sissy” Simmons (Bobbie) of Corinth, MS, Sisters-in-law: Vi West of Verona, MS, and Audrey Childers of Hancock, WI, Grandchild: Lorien Gray, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to West Clinic at 2001 State Drive, Corinth, MS 38834, or Jacy’s Wagons at PO Box 355 Michie, TN 38357.
