Ruby Jones, 84, gained her heavenly wings Sunday January 04, 2026 at her residence. Services are planned for Saturday January 10, 2:00 pm at Theo Holiness Church with Bros. Harold Dixon and Ronald Wilbanks officiating. Visitation will take place from 04:00 pm on Friday January 09, 2026 until service time on Saturday at the Church.
Ms Jones was born in Alcorn County, Mississippi on March 10, 1941, to Noah Pinkney “Noie” and Maggie Follin Settlemires. She was a Homemaker and a member of Theo Holiness Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband: Billy Joe Jones, Siblings: James Marshall Settlemires (Isabell), Cecil Settlemires (Elvie), Rebon Settlemires (Maxine), Roy Settlemires (Carly Faye), Willard Settlemires (Helen), Cletus Settlemires, Ethel Settlemires Jones, Ola Settlemires Jones, Maydell Settlemires Null, Earlene Settlemires Elam, Ivy Jean Settlemires Wilbanks, Son-in-Law: Richard Lee Williams
Those left to cherish her memory include her Children: Jeanine Williams (Robbie) of Walnut, Mississippi, Son: Willie Joe “Jody” Jones of Walnut Mississippi, Grandchildren Stephanie Machado, and Tim Williams (Melissa), Great-Grandchildren: Seth Williams (Tiffany), Skylar Cummings (Mark), Madison Childers (Cole). Great Great Grandchildren: Jonathan Wade Whitehead, Journey Logunes, Holden Childers, Cillian Cummings and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Trent Settlemires, Jason Sides, Brad Moss, Brandon Stewart, Dusty Crum, Shane Matheny.
Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne Dixon and Michael “Bird” Settlemires
