Johnny Wayne Jones

Johnny Wayne Jones, 75, gained his heavenly wings Thursday January 29, 2026 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Services are planned for Saturday February 07, 12:00 Noon at the County Line Baptist Church with Bros. Wayne Cornett and Keith Conaway officiating. Visitation will take place Friday February 06, 2026 3:00 PM until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Jones was born in Ripley, Mississippi on June 15, 1950, to Willie and Gracie Flake Jones. He was a self-employed Logger and was a member of County Line Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Siblings: Billy Joe Jones (Ruby), Jimmy Dale Jones, Larry Jones (Mary Lou), Roger Jones, Eva Sue Willingham (Ottis), Mary Jane Rutherford (Bob), 3 Grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife: Sherry Jones of Walnut, Mississippi, Sons: Scott Singleton (Tracy) of Corinth, Mississippi, Danny Jones (Jamie) of Corinth, Mississippi, Willie “Clint” Jones (Misty) of Corinth, Mississippi, Jonathan Jones (Rachel) of Walnut, Mississippi, Daughter: Brandy Hubbard (Elton) of Walnut, Mississippi, Sister: Ruth Settlemires of Blue Springs, Mississippi, Sister-in-Law: Ripple Jones of Walnut, Mississippi, 9 Grandchildren: Joey Littlejohn, Jacob Jones, DJ Jones, Autumn Turner, Emily Frazier, Hailey Dedeaux, Austin Hodge, Megan Jumper, Sadie Jones and 17 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joey Littlejohn, Jacob Jones, Danny “DJ” Jones, Bryson Hicks, Josh Russell, Steve Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Rencher, Frankie Guynes, Stacy Russell, Tracy Russell, David Jones, Brayden Jones.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Corinthian Funeral Home to help cover expenses.

The Corinthian Funeral Home is honored to serve the Jones family.

    Johnny has always been a person who was not only good to me but to everyone. He was a kind hearted man who will be missed so much by his wife sherry, his children, grandchildren and his community. May you all be comforted at this time by the good memories you all shared . Rest easy Johnny good things await you .
