Jerry Wayne Whitehead, 76, gained his heavenly wings Monday February 09, 2026 at his residence. Services and committal are planned for Friday February 13, 2:00 PM at the Corinthian funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Voyles officiating. Visitation will take place Friday February 13, 2026 from Noon until service time at the Corinthian funeral Home. Burial will take place at Lowry Methodist Cemetery at 20860 Highway 2, Ripley, Mississippi after the service.
Mr. Whitehead was born in Brownsfield, Mississippi on December 22, 1949, to Willie and Mable Ellis Whitehead. He was employed at Cubicon.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife: Margaret Sweatman Whitehead, Step-Son: Rickey Spencer, Siblings: Dennis Whitehead, Hugh Whitehead, Linda Wilbanks, and Nelda Wright.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brother: Kenneth Whitehead (Brenda) of Ripley, Mississippi. A host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Corinthian Funeral Home to help cover expenses.
