Mr. Hurshel Miles died at Magnolia Regional Health Center on February12, 2026. Services are planned for February 16, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Miles officiating. Burial will take place at Bethlehem Cemetery in Walnut, MS. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time at the church.
Mr. Miles was born in Alcorn County, Mississippi on September 05, 1937 to Tom and Louise Wilbanks Miles. He was a self-employed logger and sawmill worker.
Mr. Miles was preceded in death by his Parents, Mother of his Children: Evelyn Miles Key, Siblings: Marvin Miles (May), Aaron Miles (Earline), Inez Crum (Red), J. T. Miles (Marie), Ladron Miles (Marie), Travis Miles, Jimmy Fiveash, and Laverne Henderson, Brother-in-Law: Danny Dixon, sisters-in-law: Elaine Dixon and Bonnie Fiveash.
Those left to cherish his memory are Son: Ronald Miles (Peggy) of Corinth, Mississippi, Daughter: Anecia Miles of Walnut, Mississippi, Sister: Patty Crum (Jimmy), Brother-in-Law: Donnie Dixon, Sisters-in-Law: Judy Fiveash (J L), Bonnie Frazier, Sonia Barnes, and Lynn Dixon.
Grandson: Kevin Miles (Stacy), Great Grandchildren: Hayden Miles, Hunter Miles.
Pallbearers will be Hayden Miles, Hunter Miles, Greg Dixon, Lawrence Nelson, Scott Barnes, Bobby Weaver, Jackie Cranford, Randy Cranford, Brian Barnes, and Brandon Weaver.
