Funeral services for Irene M. Gray, 95, are set for March 12, 2026, at Corinthian Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Wells, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Dogwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Gray died on March 8, 206, at the Mississippi Care Center, Corinth, MS. Her work career included Weaver’s Pants Factory, Roy’s Fabrics, Hancock Fabrics, and Lee Highway Floral all in Corinth. She was a homemaker, an expert seamstress, a talented home food preserver, and an avid gardener. Her flowers and vegetables were her pride and joy. She also greatly enjoyed quilting, quilts, cooking and collecting recipes. Additional pastimes include daily Bible studies and watching the Food Network and HGTV. She was a life-long member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gray; her parents, Elmer and Callie McCluskey; and her brother, Willie James McCluskey.
Survivors include one sister, Judy McPeters, of Oxford; a son, Rick Gray and his wife Peggy Womack, of Green Valley, AZ; one daughter, Brenda Debord and her husband Joe of Atlanta; one grandchild, Anna Hilton and her husband Travis, of Corinth; and three great-grandchildren, Turner, Cody, and Vivienne.
Pall bearers are Cody Hilton, Turner Hilton, Tom Hinton, Thomas Hinton, Mark Matthews, and Will Matthews.
Family visitation will be at 12 noon, friends’ visitation at 1:00 PM, and the service at 2:00 PM at Corinthian Funeral Home.
