Celebration of life service for Ms. Girtie Hunt, 73, will be 2:00 pm Monday October 5, 2026, at the New Covenant Christian Assembly in Faulkner, MS, with Bro. Joe Spencer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 5:00 pm until service time on Monday. Committal and Burial will take place after the service at Hatchie Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Hunt passed into her eternal home on Thursday October 01, 2026, at her Magnolia Regional Health Center.
She was born in Alcorn County, Mississippi on April 26, 1953, to Helen Marie Crum. She worked as a machine operator for Benchcraft.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Helen Marie Miles, grandparents: Eddie and Martha Crum, special friend: Hurshel Miles.
Those to carry on her memory includes her son: Robbie Hunt (Tanya), daughter: Amanda Crum (Kimbel), her grandchildren: Micah Crum, Faith Hunt, Allie Hunt, honorary grandsons: Dalton Brake, Carter Wilbanks, sister: Mary Evetts (Leonard), brother: Hershel Brock (Leslie), Niece: Cheyenne Lindsey, Nephews: Josh Latch, Sidney Latch, Cody Brock.
Pallbearers: James Wilbanks, Sidney Latch, Bobby Mullins, Billy Wilbanks, Tyler Martin, Micah Crum, Dalton Brake.
