Celebration of life service for Mrs. Carolyn Chase, 76, will be 3:00 pm Thursday October 8, 2026, at the Christ Gospel Church in Rienzi MS with Bros. Ricky Bray and James Dixon officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 pm at the church until service time on Thursday.
Burial will be in Christ Gospel Cemetery immediately after the service.
Mrs. Chase passed into her eternal home on Sunday October 04, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville, MS.
She was born in Alcorn County, MS on September 04, 1950 to Milton and Betty Strickland Morgan. Mrs. Carolyn worked in garment factories and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: Shelby Chase, Grandchildren: Ashley Jones, Amanda Burcham, Great Grandson: James Thomas Burcham, Siblings: Tommy Morgan, Connie Huguley, Glenda Lytal, Danny Morgan .
Those to carry on her memory includes her Daughters: Latina Baswell (Terry) of Rienzi, MS, Tammy Dixon (James) of Booneville, MS, Brother: Milton “Punchie” Morgan (Diane) of Rienzi, MS, 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Pallbearers: Brad Jones, Brandon Jones, Brian Dixon, Quinton Dixon, Jonathan Jones, Joseph Jones.
Honorary Pallbearers: Thomas Burcham and Great Grandchildren.
