Mrs. Eva Dale Rorie






Celebration of life for Mrs. Eva Dale Rorie, 88, will be 1pm Wednesday July 10, 2024, at First Methodist Church with Kim Ratliff and Elizabeth West officiating. Interment will be in Magnolia Gardens.
Visitation will be 11am till service time Wednesday at the church.
She walked into heaven Friday July 5, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Rorie was born on November 22, 1935, to the late William and Margaret Williams Johnston in Alcorn County, Mississippi. She was retired from World Color and a member of the First Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Paulette Benjamin, and two brothers, Don Johnston, and Ray Johnson.
Those to carry on her memory include her husband, Thomas Rorie of Corinth, one son Steve Benjamin wife Sandra of Bartlett, Tenn., stepdaughter Barb Rorie King and husband Dave of Corinth, one brother Roe Taylor Johnston, two grandsons Colby Benjamin of Knoxville, Tenn. and Brad Hardwick of Lakeland, Tenn.

    Mamaw I will miss you so much! I always enjoyed our phone calls. You always made me laugh. I had 30 years with you, I wanted more. I will always remember those special memories of you and hold them close to my heart. May you rest in peace. I love you Mamaw!

    Sending prayers and condolences to Eva family work with Eva for 30years she was such a sweet lady I would always see Eva at Gardner Supermarket loved talking to her.Love you Eva my co-worker. I will miss you.R.I.P.

    Eva was like a ray of sunshine.
    She would walk into the wellness center and call out Good Morning everybody!
    I will surely miss her and her hugs.
    She made the day brighter for sure.
