Amanda Kay Burcham

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amanda Kay (Dixon) Burcham, 36, a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. Amanda peacefully passed away on October 22, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born on March 29, 1989, Amanda was raised in Booneville, MS, in a close-knit family where she learned the values of kindness, compassion, and a deep love for God—who now holds her hand as she walks into heaven. She faced many challenges in her life, but her light never dimmed. Amanda was an inspiration and a living testament to her faith in God and her devotion to her family.

Amanda’s greatest joy in life was being a mother. She poured her heart into raising her children, always making sure they knew they were her purpose, her pride, and her whole world. Her love was unwavering, her guidance rooted in grace, and her presence a constant source of strength. She walked through life with Christ at the center of everything she did, and her faith was the foundation of the home she built. Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped, the love she gave, and the example she set.

Amanda is survived by her devoted husband of 17 years, TJ; their two children, Alex and Melanie; her parents, James and Tammy Dixon; her brothers, Quinten Dixon (Frances) and Brian Dixon, Grandmother: Carolyn Chase, In-laws: Donald and Mary Burress, Edith McClellan, sister-in-law: Jessica Burcham, brother-in-law: Blake Burress, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved eldest son, James Thomas (JT); and her grandparents, QT and Billie Dixon and James Felks and Shelby Chase.

Amanda’s family invites you to celebrate her life at a service on 10-25-2025, 1:00 pm at Christ Gospel Church with Bro. James Dixon officiating. Visitation will be held on 10-24-2025, 5:00-9:00 pm and 10-25-2025 from 10:00 am until service time. Both will take place at the church.

Pallbearers will be: Brian Dixon, Quinten Dixon, Alex Burcham, Brandon Jones, Matthew Ligon, Blake Burress, and Brad Jones

Amanda will be remembered for her unwavering faith and her deep dedication to her family. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her
