Mr. Larry Thomas Nelms 74, died at his residence on 10/26/2025. Services are planned for Thursday October 30, 2025, 1:00 pm at Farmington Baptist Church. Brothers John Little and Ralph Culp will officiate. Visitation will take place at the church on October 29, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and from noon until service time on the day of the service.
Mr. Nelms was born on May 01, 1951 in Alcorn County, MS to Ernest and Lessie Carter Nelms. He was retired from Mississippi Polymers and was a member of Farmington Baptist Church. He was also a member of the tractor pulling club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Son: Daryl Wade Nelms, Grandchild: Blaire Kinlee White, Great Grandson: Maverick Nelms, Siblings: James Nelms and W. G. Nelms.
Larry is survived by his Wife: Kathy Nelms of Corinth, MS, Daughter: Kayla White (Brian) of Corinth, MS, Sons: Shawn Nelms (Heather) of Corinth, MS, and Kevin Nelms (Jennifer) of Corinth, MS, Sister: Shirley Brown of Amory, MS, Grandchildren: Kaleb Nelms, Kameron Nelms, Jenna Nelms, Daryl Nelms, Brinlee White, and Blaine White
Pallbearers: Jimmy Russell, Brian White, Tim Bobo, Donald Wallace, Larry Bridges, Kaleb Nelms.
Honorary Pallbearers: Travis Thompson, Leroy Marlar, Gary Bowers, Gilbert Wooten, John Clark and friends and frellow tractor pullers.
