Celebration of life service for Mr. Jimmy Eugene Crum, 84, will be 2pm Sunday March 17, 2024, at Hatchie Chapel Church with Bro. Titus Mathis and Bro. Ronnie Mercer officiating. Interment will be in church cemetery.
Visitation will be 5pm till 8pm Saturday and noon till service time Sunday at the church.
Mr. Crum passed from this life on Friday March 15, 2024, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Mississippi.
He was born in Alcorn County, Mississippi on June 22, 1939, to George and Pauline Bass Crum. He was a faithful member of Hatchie Chapel Church and retired from the 5th district of Alcorn County road construction crew and he was a 32 degree Mason with the Walnut Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter-in-law, Danna Crum, one great granddaughter, Lilly Grace Anderson, his siblings: Junior Crum, Danny Crum, Sammy Crum, Gertha Null husband Johnny Hugh, and Faye Moore husband Wayne, two brother-in-laws: Larry Strickland and Owen Moore.
Those to carry on his memory include his wife Cloyce Wilbanks Crum, his children: Randall Crum and Misti Crum all of Walnut, two sisters: Paulette Strickland and Carolyn Moore, one sister-in-law, Ann Crum of Greenbrier, Arkansas, his grandchildren: Jozie Crum, Dewayne Clark wife Samantha, Justin Clark, and Jamie Anderson husband Reggie, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Glen, Crum, Anthony Null, Timmy Moore, Matt Moore, Jimmy Wayne Crum, Terry Spain Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Wilbanks, Jerry Lewis, Jerry Reeves
