Mr. Troy Daniel Wilbanks, 77, died at Region One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee on March 15, 2026. Services will take place 2:00 PM, March 18, 2026 at Kendrick Baptist Church with Bro. Zack Howell officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM on Tuesday March 17, 2026 at the church and go until service time on Wednesday. Burial will take place at Kendrick Baptist Church Cemetery

He was born in Brownsfield, Mississippi on June 12, 1948 to Joe Daniel and Alice Marie Rogers Wilbanks. Mr. Wilbanks was a retired mechanic, body painter and gardner. Mr. Troy loved his church, family time, fishing, working on cars, car shows, and gardening. He was a member of Kendrick Baptist Church.

Mr. Wilbanks was preceded in death by his Parents, Son: Danny Wilbanks, Son-in-law: Nathan Carman, Siblings: Raymond Wilbanks, Jesse “Buck” Wilbanks, Roy Wilbanks, William Joe Wilbanks.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years: Barbara Johnson Wilbanks, Son: Charles Wilbanks (Peggy) of Corinth, Mississippi, Daughter: Troice Carman of Corinth, Mississippi, Brothers: Frank Wilbanks (Lila) and Billy Wayne Wilbanks (Jodie) both of Corinth, Mississippi, Sisters: Betty Wright (Elton), Wanda Whirley, Vonda Wilbanks all of Corinth, Mississippi, Grandchildren: Kayla Spruill (Adam), Troy Wilbanks (Laken), Jacob Wilbanks (Kalee), Logan Wilbanks, Levi Carman (Hannah), Seth Carman, Great Grandchildren: Paige, Adalynn, Austyn, Oaklee, Maddyx, Holly, Chloe, Emmett.

Pallbearers will be Troy Wilbanks, Jacob Wilbanks, Logan Wilbanks, Levi Carman, Seth Carman, Mark Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews.
