Mildred “Millie” Wall

Mildred “Millie” Ann Wall

February 27, 1944 – April 6, 2026

Mildred Ann Wall, 82, passed peacefully from this life on April 6, 2026.

Born on February 27, 1944 in Dickson TN, Millie lived a life defined by warmth, kindness, and a generous heart that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Those who loved Millie knew her as a woman of deep and abiding faith. Her relationship with Jesus was not merely a part of her life — it was the foundation of it. That faith was evident in the way she treated others: with patience, compassion, and a gentleness that made people feel seen and valued. She had a special tenderness for animals, and her care for God’s creatures great and small reflected the same loving spirit she offered to everyone around her.

As a longtime resident of Corinth, Mississippi, and a devoted member of Waldron Street Christian Church, Millie found a strong and lasting source of love, faith, and family that she always cherished.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Harriet Wall, and her brothers, Ray O’Neil Wall and Marshall Wall, the Howells; Kathy Howell and Geraldine Howell.

She is survived by her beloved siblings, Evelyn Whitworth (Wayne) and Tom Wall (Wendy).

Millie is also survived by her lifelong friends who were family in every sense of the word: Tommy and Linda Floyd and family, Barbara Steward, Sherrel Sanders and Marie Avant.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the devoted caregivers who walked alongside Millie with such compassion and professionalism during her final season of life: Dr. Pratt and his staff, her church family, the caring team at Visiting Angels, and the tender and skilled professionals at Gentiva Hospice. Their kindness and dedication brought comfort not only to Millie, but to all who love her.

Millie’s smile, her kindness, and her quiet strength will not be forgotten. She is home now, at peace with her Savior, and the love she gave so freely lives on in each life she touched.

She is clothed with strength and dignity.”

Celebration of Life will be held at Waldron Street Christian Church on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Visitation 11:00 – 1:00 with a service to follow at 1:00pm.

The Corinthian Funeral Home is honored to serve the Wall family.
